<p>Does it depend on the school?
I'm a bio major and have heard that it doesn't matter as long as you complete it before spring..
at the same time I heard it was before the fall.</p>

<p>Depends on the school. I know some schools require you to finish by summer if you want to tag.</p>
<p>I don’t think it would affect TAG, as TAG only guarantees admission into the school, not the major (not sure though). I would get your math/english/pre-req classes done by fall (or winter) of 2012 because those are the last grades they will check.</p>
<p>I think for some schools you have to finish calc ONE the summer before the fall you apply for TAG. Also @ above the only school that guarantees by school and not major is UCSD, the rest of the TAG schools guaranteed both (or some form of your major, such as admission into premajor).</p>
