Still considering others

I just sent in my Chicago application and am already pretty nervious. I don't expect anyone to tell me if I will get in or not, so my question is: how would you feal if you were me?

In all honesty, all I can say is best of luck.
As far as your academic index (GPA + SAT Scores) they are sub par. Your extracurriculars also don't particularly shine.

Basically think of it as shooting yourself in the leg before entering combat, you're at a disadvantage. Nevertheless, such a disadvantage doesn't make it impossible to be the hero of the battle field.

Likewise, the beauty of the admissions process is that its more than just what you've done, its how you present what you've done. Hence, if you're essays truly shine and if your recommendations cohere, then you're in.

Ultimately, there's really nothing we on this board can tell you. We don't know your essays, we don't know your recommendations. Nevertheless, all I can suggest is to have faith in yourself, don't lose hope. However, if it doesn't work out life isnt over.

I like my chances at madison, but Chicago is where I really want to go. My essays are really good in convaying my personality. I have a few more ecs listed on my app, and I also forgot to put I am president of the chem club, as well as the field coordinator for the dems.
I think my gpa is ok considering that I've taken the toughest course load that school has offered.

So my question still stands, if you were me how confident would you be?

Any other thoughts?

Why does everyone hate me?
