Complete Organizations List on Swarthmore Website?

Hi! I am very interested in Swarthmore, but where do you get the complete organizations list? On the Swarthmore website, I am directed to http://www.swarthmore.edu/student-life, and I dunno where to proceed. When I google, I am directed to the mailing list. https://secure.sccs.swarthmore.edu/mailman/listinfo. I am interested in unconventional activities like Go(i.e. Weiqi/Baduk), parkour and stargazing etc, and I wonder whether they are available in Swarthmore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At Swarthmore (and most other schools of its size) organizations change, evolve, from year to year based on student interest. There is generally liberal availability of school funds to start a group if you and a couple of others are so inclined. I would bet that the school hesitates to put an official list on the website for fear of disappointing someone who arrives and finds out that the prime movers of that group just graduated. Remember that almost all organizations are entirely student-initiated and student run. The page you referenced first had an email contact address; why don’t you give it a try?

Thanks donnaleighg. You’re quite right. I’ve known several instances where the club died simply because the seniors (who started the club) graduated. I suppose I’ll contact the admissions then.
