Completed preliminary review?

"We have completed a preliminary review of your application. We sometimes request additional information (senior-year grades, for example), so be sure to watch the mail. You may submit senior year grades at www.usc.edu/MDYResponse, even if we did not specifically request them. We are continuing to review applications and expect to mail notification of a decision by April 1st."

I submitted for the Jan. 10 deadline and I just got this today. Do you think submitting my 1st semester senior grades will impact me that much? :( I got 1 B this semester in AP Calculus AB. When I submitted my USC application I had a 4.0 UW GPA. My SAT 1 is really low (1810) so I was relying on my GPA. I'm really nervous. Has anyone submitted their senior grades in yet?

Hey, I am in the same shoes as you. I submitted my application for the December priority deadline. I got that back in December 3, as I submitted my application in late-October.

I have a low SAT score but I also had a strong GPA and pretty good ECs, in my humble opinion. I'm going to wait until I get an official request or until mid-February. Yes, my GPA went down because of AP Calculus too.

When should we submit our semester grades by? Mine don't come out til like..maybe Feb. 10...would it be OK to send them then?
