I will chance you back if you chance me!
Thanks!

I definitely think you have a pretty good shot. GPA is definitely low for USC, but since your grades constantly went up throughout high school, I think that will help. You should probably explain how you learned from freshman year about how important grades were to make up for the poor freshman year. Good luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/606674-please-chance-me.html</a></p>

I think you have a pretty good chance, but I definitely agree that you have to make sure to explain why your grades changed. Tell them why you felt more motivated to succeed (or whatever reason your grades changed). That will be very important. I think it’s definitely possible for you to get accepted, though.

I actually forgot to put it there on the commonapp…:frowning:
Should i send them a letter about it?

USC has no common app!

haha oh thats right. well on the USC app, i didnt explain why. I just thought they would see the trend. should i send them an extra letter to them about it?

Private small planes… Guess we’re two then
Intl’ here - I’m studying for the PPL-A and have accumulated some hours in gliders.

If I get in we should def go grab some hours! Do you know if there are airports right in the vincinity of USC (know it’s LA but… Van Nuys? I have a secret dream of going there after watching One Six Right :P)

As for your chances, you seem like a competitive candidate. I’m no admissions officer, so that’s all I can tell you. Best of luck!

Yay a fellow interactor!!! :)

Your scores and grades are on the lower side but they will appreciate your improvement and remember that essays can make all the difference so if flying has really had an impact on you then you have excellent chances!

Good luck! (here’s mine: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/528856-we-aim-above-mark-hit-mark-emerson.html</a>)

Cheers! :)

You’re a bit soft in grades and test scores, but your ECs are very nice. I think you’ll get in based on your essays and the fact that you have constant improvement grades-wise. Good luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/609937-mediocre-grades-great-scores.html</a> and if you can, please nominate other schools I might have a shot at.

Your ECs are real great, I have heard that USC pay pretty much attention on ECs, I think you stand a good chance.

I am an Interactor too, :]

Thanks for the replies y’all (yes im from Texas.) Interact. Woot.

Bremsespor- Dang it…so im not unique anymore haha jk. I’ve never done gliding before since texas is COMPLETELY flat…I’ve flown cessna’s and pipers before…but i havent got my license. It would probably be close to impossible to take off @ LAX since of the insane amount of traffic there…i know theres an airport in the OC(Orange County.) Shoot me a PM if you get in! Good luck.

BUMP! to the top

You know you want to chance me.

I think you have a great shot. Your GPA is a bit low, but I think your ACT scores and your ECs will help a lot because your GPA isn’t too much lower.

Good job on that 35 in Science on the ACTs!

Thank you. I hope my science score will get me into my bio major.
