I think the website did a good job of highlighting:
Academics: ‘Transformative Undergraduate Experience’
Prepare for career success
Vibrant Residential Community
Neighborhood outreach – (I like that they’re engaging the neighborhood.)
Global Outreach/Learning around the globe
Also like the quick ‘Why UChicago’ and ‘Our History and Culture’
Not crazy about it aesthetically though, but it is functional and easy to find stuff.
It was 20 degree earlier with a wind chill of 8 degree (and probably colder after sunset) at Hyde Park. It would be a good advertisement for the UChicago Medicine or Hospital if they do yoga outside Rockefeller Chapel in this seasonably cold day in January and then immediately need medical attention :)).
Good thing they didn’t mess with the aesthetics of the main UChicago webpage. I sort of like the maroon color with the white letters their crest theme.
Also, not trying to do their quality assurance job for them, but when you click on the upper left corner ‘University of Chicago’ it should take you to the main page of the University of Chicago page, not right back to ‘The College.’
Well I may not be able to take credit for anything on the website, I did have a discussion on this forum a couple of months ago about how some colleges (UChicago included) are transformative and some are not…
