So due to the budget cuts (and priority registration crap) , looks like I might not be able to make it into my Physics class. I'll be applying as an engineering major this fall. If I complete the series (3 classes in total) from 2 different colleges, will I be in a disadvantage? The classes are the exact equivalent by the way.

u will not be in a disadvantage, but crash the physics class because about half the class drops…

Are colleges we’re talking about in the same district? If so, it’s okay.

If not, you can’t do that.

Ex: CC1 and CC2 are in the same district. They even use the same class registration site (as most CCs in the same district)

CC1 has PHY1,2,3 and CC2 has PHY1,2,3

You should be taking PHY3 in CC1, but the class is full. You can go to CC2 for PHY3.

Yes the CCs are in the same district, the courses are exactly the same with different course numbers. Example, CC1 has 4A,4B,4C. CC2 has 140,141,142. Is that anything to worry about?

Ask a counsellor about it. Most probably it’s okay, but the different course numbering throws me off.

if the ccs are in the same district you have absolutely nothing to worry about…unless the classes are really different:
im assuming its mechanics, E&M, then everything else? hahaha
