Completion of prerequisites?

<p>Do prerequisites have to be completed at the time you apply or at the time you will be attending? I will have the IGETC completed, but not all the courses for my major requirements by the time I apply next fall. </p>

<p>Not only this, but I'm very confused on whether my CC even offers the classes I need for certain majors. For example, Berkeley requires Biology IA/Lab-General Biology, but I took Biology 10/Lab-General Biology. Also, Math 1A, 1B-Calculus, but my CC only offers Math 3A, 3B, 4A-Calculus. Are these the same courses and will be counted as such or are they different?</p>

<p>@CalBearGuy So if I apply for Berkeley in Fall 2010 and complete the major prerequisites in Spring 2011, that’s OK?</p>

<p>you’re applying in fall '10 for fall '11, then you must complete the pre-reqs by spring '11. </p>

<p>go to assist.org. bookmark it too while you’re at it. It will tell you what your pre-req’s are and which classes at your cc are the equivalent.</p>
