Completion timing for IGETC matters? (Affects chances?)

Hello everyone, how are you?

It is a question about IGETC. (I’ve been asking questions a lot, sorry!)

This is my starting year in college and I am planning to apply to UC’s in 2016-2017 year.

Do you have a better chance if you finish IGETC by Fall when you apply?

(Here’s the backstory: I can complete all the IGETC by Fall. Except for Foreign Language.
It’ll take me up to Winter, but I can finish it by Spring prior to transfer. Also, I can finish major req by the end of Fall semester.)

Will it affect my chances if I don’t finish IGETC by fall semester?

I’m pretty sure every UC just wants IGETC to be completed by the Spring prior to transfer. You’re fine.
