Complicated CSU transfer question

I’m currently a community college student in California who has been accepted to San Francisco State University for Spring 2019. On my application, I initially put my five classes I plan to complete this fall semester before I attend university for the Spring semester: Anthropology, Economics, English, Philosophy, and Political Science. I’m currently at 47 units and this will put me at 62 units. Weeks after submitting this CSU application, I ended up signing up for a 6th class that’s a late start into the semester (Book of the year discussion) for 1 transferable credit in case I fail something. Well, I’m at risk for failing my Anthropology class so that was a good idea. However, I keep stressing out about the fact that this book class wasn’t on my application, even though I’m aware I do have to submit final transcripts.

My question is, will my acceptance be rescinded if I fail or drop the Anthropology class? So long as I pass those other 4 classes and the book discussion, I will be at exactly 60 units and I’ve completed the golden 4 and other degree requirements and this will show on my final transcript in December. I’ve already called admissions and they weren’t 100% sure, but they think I’ll be accepted. I was hoping to find someone on here who was in a similar situation or knows for certain about this. It’s really getting at me. I’ve never failed or dropped a class in 2 years of college, it just sucks that this has to happen right when I’m about to transfer to university.

If you fail Anthropology, you could be rescinded. If you plan to drop, contact SFSU to make sure that this will be acceptable. Is Anthropology a course requirement for your major?

all admissions are conditional, if yours was conditional on completing those classes, then yes. they could yank it. I agree, you should contact SF State today and see what they recommend.
