I'm new here and searched this question but maybe someone could help me out while I keep looking...

**Does UCLA make admission decisions based off your grades up till the end of your fall semester only? I know we have to report our spring semester grades but could spring semester grades help you get in?

This one's problly a no brainer, thanks anyways guys....

UCLA and the UC’s in general factor in all grades (A-F, W, I, AR) through the fall semester. Your spring grades won’t affect admissions decisions. However, like vintij said, dropping a prereq or failing a class could result in your admission being rescinded.

They have three categories. Average GPA applied, average GPA admitted and average GPA enrolled. The average GPA applied is the GPA before Fall grades, the average GPA admitted is the GPA including fall grades, and the average GPA enrolled is the GPA including fall and spring. Generally, the GPA is highest for the “admitted” category, then it drops in the “enrolled” category because either people slack off or the higher GPA admits choose not to enroll at UCLA. And the “applied” category is always the lowest because many people apply with low GPA’s who don’t get in, or they have not improved their GPA yet through fall grades.

spring grades wont help out, they can however hurt you, if they fall below a 3.0 (or w/e GPA standard is set for you by the school) ur admission could be rescineded.
