Do Colleges/Universities even consider subscores? I always thought that the composite score was the only one that was relavent, but that's not the vibe I'm getting on this site. Ironically enough, I scored higher on my (perceived) weaker sections on the ACT than on my (perceived) stronger sections, so in a sense it'd probably be a disadvantage for me if colleges actually minded the individual subscores.

Replies appreciated.

Some colleges look at the individual subscores. based on those you may be able to test out of certain classes. My chemistry teacher did that in math. She had like a 24 composite but a 31 in math. This allowed her to test out of like 2 math classes in college.

Does anyone have a compiled list (or at least know) which schools consider subscores or not?

Anyone know which schools care about subscores?

the composite is much more important than the individual subject scores... but some colleges will take the individual scores into consideration
