<p>My son is a junior. He's a bassoonist and guitarist (classical/jazz/rock). Guitar is his main instrument although he is a decent bassoon player. He takes private lessons on both plus composition lessons. He comes from a very musical family. Dad works for Dept. of Music and I am a public school orchestra director and a professional bassoon/contrabassoon player. We are looking for colleges/universities that are strong in both composition and guitar. He would prefer a mixture for guitar. He composes both traditional compositions as well as modern popular genre (like songs for a rock group). He is looking for schools on the east coast. We live in Delaware. Neither my husband or I can help too much with the guitar part. Hence, I'm posting this question. </p>
