<p>anyone know the composition of the orchestras at Olaf as far as which were music majors and which were non music majors, say, last year? I undestand there are two orchestras at olaf.</p>

<p>The St. Olaf Orchestra and Philharmonia are both open to both music majors and non-music majors. I think the percentage of majors in the St. Olaf Orchestra (the top tier orchestra) is a little over 50%, and I'm imagining it's somewhat less in Philharmonia. However, they are both very strong, and next year will be conducted by the same director. </p>
