Hi everyone. I was recently admitted into LSA at Umich and my acceptance email mentioned the Comprehensive Studies Program. There was not a lot of information given about the program so I was wondering if anyone had heard of it before. Thanks.
CSP is a program designed for first gen students, URM or not, that U of M thinks may benefit from a bit of extra support. There are CSP specific sections of some of the bigger first year classes that are smaller with more individual attention. You’ll also get more one on one academic advising etc. It’s a way for the university to help students navigate Michigan and succeed.
@96blue Do you know how they select students for this? I am a URM but I am not a first generation college student.
@kcoleman89 I don’t. Sorry.
@96blue it’s okay, thank you for your help!
