CompSci / Marketing Combo

Recently i've been considering the prospect of majoring in marketing and minoring in something computer science related.

I am very strong with computer hardware and web development but my programming skills are weak. Most compsci programs i've looked at really only cover C++/Java, things like that. Are there many programs that study strictly web based material?

I am highly interested in business and marketing and I was wondering if there was a way to implement my computer skills into a marketing major.

Different colleges call different names, but you should look into Computer Information Systems, Information Science, or Information Technology… major. It is more practical, business application of IT. Computer science gears heavily toward software engineering; thus courses like object oriented programming, compiler construction, numerical analysis etc.

Alright, none of the liberal arts schools I applied to have an IT program. Would this even be advantageous to me, if I went this route?
