<p>Computational biology is definitely an emerging field. Using computer science or engineering fields to make sense of a knowledge-based field such as biology, has powerful and widespread implications in the future. I am currently interested it in the subject as a computer engineering major at UCSD, but it is still best to specialize in a more general field just to test the waters (ie. computer science).</p>
