Wondering if any of you study computational neuroscience or machine learning?

If so, what is your question?

I am looking for schools with solid research groups in these area(s). I am a rising junior, so I'm trying to slowly compile a list of schools so that, come next summer, I only have to worry about 'what' and not 'where,' as it were.

CalTech has a kickass PhD program in computational neuroscience. I think it's called "Computation and Neural Systems" or CNS.

Good luck.

CMU and Univ. of Toronto have good research groups in machine learning.

Look at CMU

Also look at Emory in Atlanta.

Go here:

UCSD has a really, really good neuroscience/cogsci program

I don't know about its reputation in relation to machine learning though
