Hello, I am still waiting for an answer from cal poly for computer engineering. I’m not sure whether they are accepting people in waves according to majors or not. Are there any people who have gotten acceptances for Computer Engineering or still waiting to hear? I am so anxious because every time I log in it says “No determination has been made at this time.”

I have seen about 3 or 4 post acceptances for Computer Engineering and Science. I am still waiting too (CE). One person posted their GPA as 3.69 UW and 4.1 UC with an SAT 1950 and was accepted to CE.

I just hope this means we’re not rejected or waitlisted… I would feel better if I knew for sure that still “no determination” didn’t mean a rejection saved to be sent later.

My son was accepted into computer engineering on 2/22. UCGPA 3.86 ACT 31 (math 36)

I’ve only hear a few getting accepted… but isn’t computer engineering a more popular major?

Waitlisted today for Computer Engineering. Transfer student.

What do you mean by your statement? haha.
The CPE Program at Cal Poly is fairly small so there are only so little spots for so many applicants.

I mean i’ve only heard a couple people on this site who have gotten in for computer engineering.

IMPORTANT: besides what other people saying, Cal poly has not been releasing acceptances by major. I just called the admissions office and they said that it is completely random.

They also said that they plan and should be done with acceptances THIS week. The lady told me they have been giving out a few rejections but the majority of rejections generally get put out afterwards.

Well since I noticed I messed up my original acceptance post and I said my weighted GPA was 3.25 that should have been 4.25 or without PE 4.35. SAT 1350/1600, ACT 30 super scored 31.
Computer engineering.
accepted 2/22.
white male,

I got accepted for computer engineering on February 22nd as well. They sent me an email when I got accepted, so watch you inbox. It’ll say something about an important update to your admission status or something similar to that.

I don’t have my GPA in front of me so I can’t tell you that, but my SAT combined score was 2020 (CR 690, M 700, WR 630). I got 800 on both the SAT II subject tests for chemistry and mathematics (level 2).
White male, sports and tons of extracurrics. Also national merit scholar finalist.
