Computer Engineering 3.0 GPA

Where should I go to college for computer engineering? I have a 3.0 GPA and 25 ACT.

I think you need to be a little more specific considering there are about 500 schools that fit what you just asked.

Most engineering schools have rather high standards of admission. So since I will obviously not get into any ‘ranked’ school I was wondering everyone’s opinion on where I should apply to?

Check out the U.S. News list entitled “A+ Schools for B Students”:

[A+ Options for B Students | Top National Universities | US News Best Colleges](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities/a-plus)

Don’t give up hope OP I got into a college ranked 11th in the nation for engineering (where Doctorate is not offered) and I had the same GPA but lower ACT than you. I am also doing computer engineering.

You don’t get into a good school with just a GPA and ACT.
You can get into a state university, perhaps if you don’t consider private colleges?
I mean just go over your schools nearby and the schools you are interested in. Compare the acceptance stats then you will see whether or not you will get into them.

I would rather go to a large public university out of state, than a private school.
