Computer Engineering and Programming

Okay, here is the deal.If im not "great" at programming, should i still consider going into Computer Engineering? I know that Computer Engineers don't do tons of programming (or at least thats how it was described at UPitt), but for someone without a ton of programming experience, i feel i may be disadvantaged, especially with all the computer savvy people at there. I guess what im asking is can someone without a strong base in programming go into Computer Engineering and be successful? It might be an obvious answer, but i would like to hear what others have to say about it.

You could still try it but it's even harder. Still, it all depends on the level of difficultly (your job and school) and sub-discipline you choose. It's always entry level so they won't expect you to be Einstein.

Well depends on what computer engineering your talking about, computer hardware engineer or computer software engineer? Of course the computer software engineer entails lots of programming. Computer hardware engineer is the same as electronical/electrical engineer except you work exclusively with computers obviously.
