I need a few last minute suggestions for schools with a decent computer science/computer engineering program. The "social scene" is not something of great interest to me, and I couldn't possibly care less about sports.

ACT Composite: 30 (retaking tomorrow)

GPA: ~3.75 UW, my school does not do weighted

No APs/IBs, as my school does not offer them. I do have quite a few dual credit classes, and I'm taking Calc I, Intro to Phys and Intro to Chem in the Spring as dual credit.

My class rank is probably close to #1/2 out of roughly 25. It's a small school.

My main EC is volunteer work that I did at my charter school, mainly technology related - setting up computer networks, etc.

My current list consists of MIT (long reach there), RPI, and Wash U, as well as New Mexico Tech. I would like to add at least one or two additional schools to my list.

Any help would be appreciated. I need as much help as I can get :)

WPI and Case Western sound like great choices. University of Rochester may be good as well. Look at Drexel and Northeastern if you are interested in coop programs.

I would have said UMich and CMU, but I don’t think you’ll make it any any of those schools. Anyway, you may try Georgia Tech and the University of Washington at Seattle.

Is money no object? GT won’t give OOS students that aid they might need.

Don’t know if the others give great aid either.

So, we need to know your “need” situation, because there’s no point to applying to certain schools if you need (and qualify for) a lot of aid, and they don’t give.

Purdue. Great Engineering program overall. Great Computer Engineering program and CS program. If you wanted to switch to another Engineering major, it would be an easy switch since literally every Eng. major at Purdue is highly respected. The CS and CIT major are both great. CS drop-outs/had-enoughs all go to CIT in which is the same thing almost.
