Computer Engineering Program - HS Math

Hi,

I’m applying to various CSU and UC schools for a computer engineer major. While my grades throughout high school have been quite high and I did well on the SATs, I'm a bit troubled by one minor detail: I didn't take a 4th year of math.

Let's take CalPoly for example, they require (or CSU rather) 0 years of advanced math but desire 4. I took "advanced math" (an upper level precalculus course) my junior year of high school. Due to the horrid curriculum my school used and the generally poor math teachers, I decided to skip calculus my senior year and focus on other difficult classes such as honors physics. While advanced math gave 2 semesters of what my first choice school desires, it's not the full amount.

I'm a bit worried that my lack of a math class my senior year will screw with my chances of getting into a computer engineering program.

Does anyone have any advice or insight as to how I should approach this problem? Thank you.
