Computer Engineering @ UC

i am curious as to what college offers CE as a major, i know most of them offer CS and EE but i am more interested in jobs like hardware engineering

Example would be: i am looking towards a job in something that involves making the physical part of video . Now i dont want to sound childish but i know what it takes to do all this stuff

so this brings to my other question: what subjects would colleges look at if you put CE as a major or maybe EE ? also do u have to know like perl, c , c++ , other launguages before entering the colleges?
right now i only took CS in my HS . 1st sem i got C (teachers sucked.. didnt do crap) 2nd sem i got a A(imagine that)

anyways any advice is appreciated :)

thanks

in your CS class what programming language do you learn?
right now i'm learning java..

i'm thinking of computer engineering too.. but the programming is starting to get on my nerves..

i learned JAVA in my CS class however we really didnt learn anything from the teacher so i considered it as a reg JAVA class!..

anyone else?
