Computer Engineering: UT Austin or TAMU Honors?

I’ve been accepted to both UT Austin and A&M College Station for computer engineering (technically electrical at UT). Overall, I like both campuses and I’ve received about the same amount of money from each. I’d really like to study abroad at some point and I probably won’t live in Texas the rest of my life. My question is this: would A&M Engineering Honors be better than regular at UT?

@davidday99 You have been accepted into your selected major at UT. You have not been accepted into any engineering major at A&M. At A*M. you have been accepted into general engineering and will apply to a major in April of your second semester, depending om satisfying the criteria to apply.
That might better help you make a decision over Honors vs regular, since you have no preference for either campus.

UT hands down, better national brand and just finished a state of the art new engineering building

UT is better known but either would be great choices and don’t think the difference is that large. A better question is what type of campus are you looking for. UT and A&M are vastly different and they share prospects who are interested in both. A&M is in Bryan/College Station and is more conservative. They are heavy on traditions. UT is located in downtown Austin it is certainly more liberal than A&M. It should really boil down to which environment would you feel more comfortable.
