Computer Mcat

i hear its coming soon, how will this affect class of 2010s pre-med sequence? what would yall recomend for wen to take the mcat (supposedly it will be offered 22 times per year now)

Content wise, it's almost identical. However, it's a lot shorter, 'bout 5.5 hours,...You get your scores back quickly...

I think it won't affect the premed sequence at all...Plus,..the classes of 2009, and 2008 have to take it before we do,..So no worries...We'll have plenty of veterans to talk too...LOL

I think that there will be a lot more people taking it after April of their Junior year - probably the June dates (like the LSAT). However BlueDevilMike thinks that more people will be taking it before the Junior year...

I think it's going to depend on how advisers push students. BDM's advisors at Duke pushed getting the AMCAS in before July (it seems), but the advisers at my school and at the schools some of my friends went to were saying August 15th - September 1st should be the goal, which fits in line with a June test day.
