<p>btw sagar, i dont think gamedev.net is such a good site for someone starting basic (not BASIC!) programming. game programming, even in a simple-to-learn language can be difficult.</p>
<p>okay im gettin kinda frustrated right now..ive been searching on the interent for some compilers and i'm not srue if they are right..ive downloaded three right now i have...bloodshed-dev c++, notepad ++, and lcc-win32....anybody familar with these prgorams..i don't know where to begin!!</p>
<p>I am telling you. C++ is not a easy language to learn, and not having a very friendly IDE/Compiler will not help</p>
<p>get MS VS 2005 beta. It will make the experience a lot better.</p>
<p>Homie: there is a lot of help on gamedev for non-gaming programming. Remember, you gotta be a good programmer before you can write games.</p>
<p>Mine is Different: I generally use dev C++, but haven't really been satisfied by it.</p>
