Hi all
My son got accepted to Ohio state (computer science and engineering ) (in state) and Purdue computer science in college of science(Oos) My son loves programming he received a 5 on his ap test and now is a ta for the his teacher. He probably couldn't use a screwdriver and hates building or putting things together but he could spend all night long on grid wold programming. My question is at OSU comp sci and engineering are together in the college of engineering at Purdue comp sci is in college of science does it really matter? I know for Purdue seems to have a better rep but OSU is a pretty good school also in state. He loves the idea of Purdue but he is aware of the cost difference. Two other points, he really wants to get into the marching band and it seems that Purdue might be easier (no music majors) and we are going to see Purdue on the 23rd and OSU again on the 25th. any imput would be great.

I would see how the cost would affect you all. If the cost will be too much of a burden, Ohio State is plenty good enough for computer science.
