Computer Science and ibanking

I entered college as an undergrad pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. Ever since I started, I had my mind set on pursuing a career in business after college with an ideal career being an investment banker. I am preparing to transfer to another prestigious university (GTown) for personal reasons where, there is no engineering. I am in a situation where a computer science major gives me the most credits and best opportunity to graduate in due time (and I do have some interest in the subject).

I am a junior, and haven't had any major internships even though I plan to add that to my resume this summer. Still, it seems I am way behind the curve. As a comp. science major, do I still have a prospective career in i-banking?? and if so, what must I do starting now to turn things around?? (ways to get internships? right people to talk to?...etc)

Thanks

network with bankers (alumni, your grandma’s friend’s son or whatever). everything else is pretty obvious (high gpa, internship at BB…)

i am more concerned about the major I will pursue and how that would affect my career prospects…a comp sci major may leave me with a very solid and unique degree in the field but may leave my gpa mediocre…while a major in a social science or in humanities may leave me with a very high gpa but a degree in a general area

any suggestions?
