<p>It’s kind of annoying when people ask for specific department comparisons across the ivy, because there isn’t too much of a difference, esp for something like comp sci, and on top of that we stress time and time again that your undergrad at columbia will be much much more than your major. </p>
<p>threads like this lead to battles between kids at different schools, measuring dcks in as many ways as possible, this drives any stable headed high schooler away from us. we engage in these battles because no one likes to be sold short. And asking whether a department as good resources… nearly every department has great resources except for new majors / depts. Columbia is not bumblefck U which is good only at x, g, d, y.</p>
