<p>Its a very good program from what i have heard and researched and you have a lot of choices as to what exactly you want to learn. CS at tech works by threads, you have 8 threads and you choose 2 or 3 threads and take classes in those areas. More information on the threads can be found here

<p>thanks guys for your replies…to be more specific i wanted to know any useful information about gatech’s computer science masters program…like typically what are some of the distinctive qualities of that program in comparison to other universities and what type of careers that its graduates typically become involved in???..any other information you might have will be very useful…thnx</p>

<p>These are all very good schools. A degree from any of these school would be respected in the job market. I would suggest deciding where you want to end up working. If you decide USA then you should choose between Ga tech and usc and if you decide Europe then the choice would be between imperial/oxford. You should also consider the costs for each of these colleges and if any of them would provide any financial aid/teaching assistantship.</p>

<p>I agree with Akbar - these are all good schools, and other factors should be considered.</p>

<p>The CS master’s program at GT is fairly good, but we are strongest in our other computing masters degrees (HCI, Info Security, etc), so that is certainly something to consider.</p>
