Computer Science at nyu worth it?

Hey guys,

First of all i would like to say hi to everybody this is my first post here. As you know, the nyu application deadline is coming up and im undecided about whether or not i should apply to nyu and major in computer science. Where does nyu rank in terms of thieir computer science program? Do you think it's worth the tuition or am i better off considering other schools for my major?

The other schools i am considering are stevens institute of technology and polytechnic institute.

Thanks.

math/cs is very strong at nyu.. but it probably has a different structure because the lack of an engineering program at nyu. many cs programs are incorporated into engineering curriculums, but at nyu that would not be the case since there are no engineers.

Since you are interested in Stevens anyway, you might want to consider the 5 yr NYU/Stevens Dual Degree program BS/BE in Computer Science/Computer Engineering. Good luck.

Actually... the official website is http://www.nyuengineering.com.

I know because I'm the president of the engineering society -- feel free to email me w/ any questions (rspencer7007@aol.com).
