Computer Science at state schools

<p>Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me out by giving me some advice. I am a transfer student applying for Fall 2014 as a computer science major. My gpa isn't very good, 2.6. Although it may show that I'm not a very great student, I've had a few major bumps during my college life which have impacted my grades negatively. Any ideas? Which colleges should I be applying to? I know I'm mostly looking at just CSUs because UCs at this point seem so far out of reach for me. </p>

<p>Less selective CSUs with CS include Chico, Dominguez Hills, Los Angeles, Northridge, Sacramento, San Bernardino, and San Francisco.</p>

<p>Your SAT or ACT score is needed to be combined with your GPA to make the CSU eligibility index used for CSU admission.</p>

<p>Note that Fullerton is impacted for all majors, including CS.</p>
