Computer science at UF

I was looking for a school for computer science since that’s my major, and I was looking at UF and saw they removed their computer science program. Its this true? Should i go to FSU or USF since those are my second choices. I really wanted to attend UF.

No, UF still has a program.

[CISE :: Academics : Undergraduate Students](Undergraduate - Computer & Information Science & Engineering)

UF offers 4 degree programs:

Computer Engineering (CEN)
Computer Science - College of Engineering (CSE)
Computer Science - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CSC)
Digital Arts and Sciences (DAS)

At one point UF was going to end the CLAS program (CSC) and combine it into the school of engineering. But that didn’t happen.

You can still attend UF, and it has a fine program. Use the above link to check out what courses would be offered at UF vs. the other schools.

Good Luck!

Computer Science - College of Engineering (CSE) would be your best choice. good luck
