Has anyone (son/daughter or self) been admitted to the Computer Science dept at VA Tech. I know it is a common General Engineering studies in year one before declaring a major (GPA permitting), but I’d like to compare notes and prep my son who is planning to attend in Fall 2016. Would value inputs.
Coincidentally, we have been planning to move to the outskirts of Washington DC (tried selling the house 3 years ago but the economy was not good then) and will resume the home search! This will also move us closer to my son’s intended school (he had accepted an offer from another school but is now planning to attend VaTech).
