I want to study computer science (has a BS in engineering and a BA in arts & sciences) as well as math (only a BA in arts & sciences). People have been saying that it’s a cs degree from UVA, it doesn’t matter which one etc but I really cannot find out the difference. I want to focus more on the theoretical aspect of computer science rather than software development as well as either double major/minor in math. Which one of these would make it easier for my intended pathway?
The Computer Science department has a page about this on their website:

I’m not a comp sci major, but my friends who do CS through the SEAS often say that CS through the College is similar but with less requirements. Not sure if that helps out a lot, maybe if you tried contacting someone in the major or in the department to get a better explanation?
