Unfortunately I got in only as a Spring Admit into the Computer Science/Business Administration program. I feel disappointed, but maybe I should not be feeling this way.

Several questions:
1. Was the Computer Science/Business Administration major difficult to get into? Did I get accepted at both Viterbi and Marshall--the document I received only specified Viterbi, but is not business administration a Marshall major?

Is Computer Science/Business Administration a particularly difficult major in terms of coursework? Is this the equivalent of a double major?

Can I go to a normal university, e.g. my local state university's honors college or even a prestigious school like UChicago, instead of a community college before going to USC? My state university's honors college's term ends on December 9.

How will housing work? Will I get the "leftovers," i.e. worst dorms?

My main issue is that USC believes I am one of the lesser qualified students or not a perfect fit for USC. I realize USC states that it is need-blind, but is it possible that my decision was due to my letter, and then follow-up details, regarding my parent's lost job? Is it possible that USC wanted to wait until my parent got another job or decrease my time as a freshman, so they will not have to provide more aid? Or was this decision purely based on admissions?

I might receive biased answers, but please be honest. Are Spring admits alienated or treated with less respect at USC? It seems they generally have lower stats.
