What colleges do you think I should apply to as reaches, matches, safeties, etc? Any help would be appreciated!

I think you’ve got quite a decent resume for a CS applicant! Good SAT and ACT scores, and good upward trend on GPA. I highly suggest you attempt to pull out a 4.0 unweighted for your first semester senior year. I think you also really need a notable EC that you’ve put time and commitment into, because I think that’s the one thing that’s REALLY lacking for you. Join a club or a community service group and put in as many hours as you can. Make it something you’re passionate about and something unique!

Colleges:

University of Washington - match (weird major policy; I suggest you read it or you can PM me since I’m in-state)
University of California: Berkeley - high match/low reach
Illinois: Urbana-Champaign - match/high match
MIT - high reach
Carnegie Mellon - low reach
Cornell - low reach/reach
Georgia Tech - match (great scholarship and financial aid policies as well!)

Best of luck!

Thanks for the great and quick response. I will try to look into the Washington policy!
