computer science/computer engineering or computer science/applied mathematics?

What combination is better? or would getting an bs cs and then an ms in ee better?

I particularly have a bias towards the computational sciences, so computer science/applied math is what I would say. However, I think all those options are good. Do what you will enjoy the most.

Better for what?

getting an bs cs then ny othr:)
good luck

Hey there,
Where I’m studying, we have a specialization/vector within the CS major exclusively for Computational Science, which is a slightly less proofy and more applied version of applied math. I’m currently specializing in both scientific computing and programming languages so I have a foot in both sides of the field. Of course, there’s a significant amount of overlap between EE and AM; the reason I chose the numerical analysis path is because I enjoy solving large systems with neat tricks or some other geometric insight. The algorithmic nature spoke to me more than the engineer in me did. So ask yourself this, do you enjoy clever math or do you like to build things? Both are fun and both are very rewarding, but you should go with the one that you like better.
