Hello! This year i took AP Computer Science in school. First semester i got 80, which i think is good enough, but on 2nd semester i didn’t do well; i’m sure my final grade for 2nd semester will be a C.
Does that mean i shouldn’t take another Computer Science course that has AP CompSci as a prerequisite?
If you are truly passionate about computer science, then you should take that path. If you think that you would rather take an alternative class and pursue a different field, go ahead. You’re not expected to ace every class. If you take this next computer science course, would you be willing to work hard in it? These are some of the questions you have to ask yourself. Remember that there are countless resources online that you can use to help you as well.
Talk to your teacher about whether you would be prepared for another computer science course. It probably depends on why you got the C.
