Looking for solid small school...can be a hidden gem/do not need big name...that offers Computer Science and either Digital Arts or Graphic Design majors for a B student. Looking primarily in the Northeast/Mid Atlantic area. SATs 1600, ACT 25
Would like a school that is more artsy then typical collegiate big sports feel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Syracuse Newhouse is primarily well known. Grades are cool, but they prefer portfolios IIRC for their graphics program.

Northeastern has a dual program in CS and CG.

What’s your ideal job with these degrees? Wondering so I can help better look for schools since I did extensive research for graphic design/commercial design/web design schools a few years ago.

Lullabies - this is for son#2 who is starting the college search. He does a lot of logo designs and his own mini computer game programming. He is torn between majoring in CS and GD. I think he is leaning towards CS but it would be nice if the school had GF for minor or some kind of digital arts minor. He is a hands on kid and would prefer to go somewhere that has limited core reqs so he can dig into what he loves…the term “well balanced” does not excite him :)
