Computer science in Engineering School vs L and S

Hi,

I was wondering what the difference between CS is between the Engineering School and college of Letters and Science. Is one harder to get into than the other? If so, what are my chances with SAT Scores of 2320 (800 CR 800 M and 800 W) and 800 Math 2 and 800 Chemistry. I also did an internship at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.

There are no guarantees based on quantitative achievements alone – that means essays, and letter of recommendations if asked, factor in also. I know two people with almost exact same stats: one got accepted directly and another waitlisted then admitted; I’m willing to bet it came down to essays and not their stats.
