Computer science in Smith College

I am an incoming international student in Smith college. I am still undecided but one of my potential majors might be computer science but I do have some questioms about it.
How strong is the computer science departement in Smith college?
Is it really that hard to maintain a high GPA (that will allow me to enter Grad school or secure a job)?
Are smithies well prepared to enter the work force? I mean are there a considerable amount of graduates who get a job at google, microsoft, and other big companies?
What companies recruit on-campus in smith?
What sort of opportunities are there for computer science majors? Do I have a chance in getting paid internships during my junior & sophomore year?
What about the study abroad program?
Thank you

If you run out of CS courses at Smith, there is the possibility of taking more at UMass. There is also a career center arrangement between Smith, UMass, and three other schools.

But an international student would have the barrier of needing a work visa to work in the US.
