<p>Many schools ask for two different subject areas for a teacher recommendation. next year, I was thinking about getting one from my math teacher/computer science teacher. </p>
<p>However, I am confused in exactly which subject computer science is really in? Math or science?</p>
<p>Computer science is usually considered a math class. Occasionally it’s a business class, if you have a business core and that department runs the class – but never a science class despite the word “science” in the name.</p>
<p>agreed, it’s never a science. at my school, you can choose whether you want math or “applied arts” credit for it.</p>
