Computer Science major at NYU

Hi guys,

I am currently part of full-time staff working at NYU and have an opportunity to take classes (hopefully full time if I can make it). The benefit I have of applying to NYU as opposed to other colleges is because I won't have to pay tuition as it is covered as one of my benefits as an employee. I am considering a computer science major as I'm such a computer geek, hehe. If there is anybody on here that are enrolled in this program I would really love to hear what you think about it.

My second question is whether or not I can actually get in, as funny as it sounds! I'm a New York resident but my HS grades and SAT grades leave a lot to be desired. However, after high school I went to one "Technical hands-on school", Katharine Gibbs School, and have a 3.6 GPA from there studying computer science. I don't really have much extracuricullar activities to speak of :( Do you guys think I have a chance to get in?

Thanks a lot!
