It is fairly popular, I only took introduction to CS, but I wish I would have taken more classes. I have a few friends who were CS majors/minors and there were summer research opportunities and such for them. In fact, one of my friends is doing an MS in CS for the next two years.

I think the main benefit of Computer Science at Wake Forest is that you get the liberal arts background that you would not get at a more engineering/technology focused school.

thanks. wake forest is on my top 5.

I had heard some negative things about the CS department although could’ve just been one opinion.

Was the intro to CS hard? I’m planning on taking it without any experience in CS and no intent on majoring in it

Computer Science is not one of the stronger majors. People I knew tended to double major with it.

If you double major do you need to spend more than 4 years in college of can you get your BA in both of your majors in 4 years?
