<p>I have a question about Computer Science major classes! Do I have to chemistry? I thought i didn't but my friends said i have to, making me second guess myself so now I'm very confused :o</p>
<p>Some schools require Chemistry (in addition to Physics) to fulfill science requirements as part of a B.S. program. It really depends on the school. Some schools require Chemistry of all engineering majors period, some just all engineering major except CS.</p>
<p>UCSD Computer Science major does NOT specifically require chemistry or physics. You will need a general science sequence which can be your choice of chemistry, physics, or biology. The department requirements for each degree offered are listed here: </p>
