I'm currently a sophomore computer science undergrad at the University of Kansas. I was just wondering what the advantages and disadvantages would be to adding a double major of mathematics to my curriculum. Realistically, this would set me at a 5-year graduation plan. Would that hurt my chances at graduate school, opposed to just sticking with the CS major and a 4-year graduation plan? I really think the math major would be beneficial and enjoyable for me but I don't want the extra year to hurt me on a graduate school application. Thanks for any guidance.

Depends on what you mean by “graduate school”. For a PhD program in math or economics, a bachelor’s degree in math will help. For other post-graduate education, probably not, although selected math courses may be helpful (it looks like the CS major at KU has two technical elective slots that can be used for math courses).
