Computer Science Major?

I was recently accepted to CAS through ED, and I have been thinking a lot about what I would like to major in. I'm really interested in computers, and I love working with them, BUT I have absolutely no experience in anything computer science-related. Is it possible for me to take intro classes in cs and be able to see if computer science really interests me, or is the major and the classes basically for students who have prior experience?

my opinion, just email the computer science department and ask them and get the answer.

Yes, you can take an intro CS course. Read this page:
[First CS Course](Choosing Your First Computing Course | Department of Computer Science)

You don’t need to worry about knowing anything about computer-science - almost no one actually does. People know things about programming, but people who actually know and understand computer science before coming to college are very rare.

I recommend taking CS 1110, 1112, or 1114 to start. If you enjoy a first class, take CS 2110. If you find these too technical and you want more of the mathematics, take CS 2800. If you really like these and are on the brink of majoring, take CS 3110.
