I'm a senior now and I'm still wondering whether i want to major in accounting/finance, applied math, or computer science/math major. The point is that i don't feel that im a good programmer after i took AP computer science A last year( i only got 3 on teh exam). But it is probably that i was quite lazy that i didn't practice enough. My strongest subject in school is math though(taking calc 3 now). I just don't get why i suck at programming. Should i major in comscience..cuz i think i like it despite how complicated it is although i prefer math.I plan to practice programmin during summer n winter break. I really don't know how hard the major is and i definitely want to double it with math if possible.

If you feel strongly about doubling, go for it. I'm doubling in math and history (graduating in 2009) because I have strong interests in both.

Computer Science can be very theoretical (read: applied math) or software engineering depending on the ciriculuum and your course selection.

If you enjoy CS, go for it. I'm a CS major and I love it... :)

You'll have lots of time to decide on majors and that kind of stuff during college (unless you want to do engineering, which you need to plan for), so I recommend holding off on deciding your major(s) until you figure out what you like after taking some classes in college.

does anyone would like to give me ideas about hows life in college as a comscience major?
